Optic Coefficient – The optic coefficient is the distance between the sensor and the measured object is an important factor in infrared measurement. Fixed Emissivity – Emissivity is the ratio of infrared radiation emitted by an object to that emitted by a perfect black body at the same temperature. The HI99550 was designed to measure the temperature of objects with an emissivity of 0.95, which is characteristic of most objects and surfaces being measured.
Low Battery Indicator – When the battery level is below 10%, a warning symbol will blink to indicate low battery condition.
