The sharp, pointed tip of the probe allows users to obtain highly accurate temperature readings of semi-solid and liquid samples.

The response time of a measurement is affected by the position of the sensor relative to the surface being measured. The HI762P pointed tip construction offers a 6-second response for a temperature reading. With a strong, corrosion-resistant, AISI 316 stainless steel construction, this probe is able to measure samples up to 150℃ (302℉).
