Measurement Specific Models
Four different models are available with different measurement ranges, each one to be used with the corresponding HI8936 model.
In-line and Tank Use
For in-line applications, the HI7635 In-line conductivity probe – NTC sensor is recommended, while the HI7638 In-line Conductivity probe with NTC sensor for immersion, with external threads, is recommended for tanks. These probes have built-in NTC sensors for temperature compensated conductivity measurements.
Automatic Temperature Compensation
Built-in temperature sensor in recommended probes ensure fast, accurately compensated readings even during sudden temperature fluctuations.
Use with Transmitter
Using the HI8931 in conjunction with a 4-20 mA output transmitter (HI8936 or HI8936L series) will assure a strong, interference free signal at distances up to 300 meters (1000’).
Direct Connection
HI8931 also features a direct connection up to 20 m (67’), without needing to amplify the signal to the conductivity probe.
Robust Design
A removable, transparent splash-proof cover protects the front panel.
