HI97500 is a portable lux meter designed for simplicity of use in taking rapid light measurements. The HI97500 comprises a rugged, water-resistant housing of the meter and durable casing of the light sensor. Additional features include three measurement ranges, an auto-off function after 7 minutes of inactivity, and low battery indicator.

A lux meter can be used to measure illuminance, or the luminous flux, in a given area. The HI97500 is a portable lux meter designed to perform light measurements simply and accurately, housed in a rugged and water-resistant body for frequent outdoor use. The instrument is supplied with a light sensor connected by a fixed 1.5 m coaxial cable to allow measurements to be taken from a distance without any interference from the operator.

Features at a Glance

Multiple Measurement Ranges – By simply pressing the RANGE key, users can switch among three ranges to choose the best resolution according to the environment being tested.

Auto-off Feature – To conserve battery life of the meter, HI97500 automatically turns off after 7 minutes of inactivity.

Low Battery Indicator – When the battery level is weak, a “V” symbol on the LCD blinks to indicate a low battery condition.
