The HI90140 is an infrared transmitter that works together with the HI140 temperature datalogger series. Through an RS232 port that connects to a PC, logged data can be transferred and managed, and high and low alarms can be programmed on the HI140 dataloggers.

The HI90140 is an infrared transmitter that allows transfer and management of data from the HI140 series of dataloggers. By simply placing the HI140 temperature loggers on the interface of the HI90140 and running the HI92140 PC software, users can manage their readings, program high and low alarms, and establish logging intervals and start times.

The infrared cradle eliminates the need to put a connector on the datalogger – an undesirable dirt-trap in the food market and source of problems due to wear and tear over time. Using the cradle and software, users need just one PC interface to handle all HI140 dataloggers, each identified by a unique ID code. Communication between the infrared transmitter and the HI140 series is indicated by two LED lights on the face of the datalogger.

HI70300L Electrode Storage Solution (500 mL)

HI70300L is a storage solution prepared with reagent grade chemicals that can be used to ensure optimum performance of your pH and ORP electrodes. It is necessary to store a pH electrode in a solution in order to keep the glass membrane of the pH electrode hydrated. Ideally a storage solution should be used; never store an electrode in distilled or deionized water. The Hanna Instruments storage solution is specifically formulated to minimize microbial growth and to prevent any effects of diffusion/osmotic from storing a probe in a solution with the highly concentrated inner reference electrolyte. Storing your pH and/or ORP electrodes in a storage solution will also keep the junction clear. Maintaining the hydrated layer and clear junction will help to ensure a fast and reliable measurement. In the case of cleaning your pH electrode in one of our cleaning solutions, we recommend soaking the electrode in the HI70300L storage solution for at least one hour before taking measurements.
