With a strong, corrosion-resistant, stainless steel construction, this probe is able to measure surfaces up to 900°C (1650°F).

The HI766E1 is a general purpose, penetration K-type thermocouple probe with a handle designed for use with a thermocouple thermometer. A cable extends 1 m (3.3′) from the handle to the thermocouple connector with the meter. The round, pointed tip of the probe allows users to obtain highly accurate temperature readings of a wide variety of liquid, air, and gas samples.
