The HI96770-01 are reagents for the colorimetric determination of silica. There are enough reagents for 100 tests to be used with Hanna’s compatible portable photometer, HI96770. These high quality reagents are manufactured in our state-of-the-art facility and are clearly marked with the lot number and expiration date on each packet for traceability.

The HI96770-01 are high-quality reagents that are pre-measured, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate colorimetric measurements. These reagents follow the USEPA Method 370.1 and Standard Method 4500-SiO2 C in which the reaction between silica and reagents causes a yellow tint in the sample. By adding the powder packets in the appropriate order, the reaction will take place and Hanna’s compatible portable photometer (HI96770) will determine the concentration from the color that is produced. The results will be displayed in mg/L (ppm) of silica. These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 0 to 200 mg/L silica.

Digital PEI Body pH Electrode with Matching Pin for Field Applications - HI12301

The HI12301 is a plastic body, double junction, gel filled pH electrode with a matching pin and built-in temperature sensor for temperature compensated measurements in a single probe design. This probe connects to the meter with a 3.5 mm connector. The 3.5 mm connector is proprietary to meters that use digital electrodes. The matching pin integrated into the HI12301 is for the Sensor Check™ capability of the edge pH meter; this feature is used to identify problems with the pH electrode such as cracks in the sensing glass or poor condition of the reference junction. The HI12301 electrode features a built-in microchip that stores sensor type, serial number, and calibration information. It also features a single ceramic junction and the spherical pH sensing portion is made with low temperature glass. The electrode has a rugged PEI (polyetherimide) body that has the chemical resistance of a glass body in an unbreakable plastic making it ideal for field and industrial applications.
