HI703004L Pool Line Electrode Storage solution is prepared with reagent grade chemicals that can be used to ensure optimum performance of pH and ORP meters. Properly storing your pH electrode in a solution keeps the glass membrane properly hydrated along with the junction that is part of the measurement system. A free-flowing junction allows for fast and stable measurements.

HI703004L Pool Line Electrode Storage Solution is a specially formulated storage solution for the proper maintenance of pH and ORP probes when not in use. To optimize the response time it is important to keep the pH bulb hydrated. It is also important to keep the junction of both pH and ORP probes hydrated. All electrodes have a junction that is an electrical pathway between the solution tested and an inner electrode. Keeping this junction hydrated keeps the junction free flowing, which provides for faster and more stable readings.

For process probes the HI703004L should be used to rehydrate the electrode after cleaning the oils and lotions that will coat the sensors over time. After using a cleaning solution the probe should be placed in storage solution for 15 minutes to allow for the hydration layer to reform. After the probe is rehydrated then a calibration must be performed.

A well-maintained swimming pool, hot tub, or spa starts with accurate readings and the proper storage of a pH/ORP electrode is required to ensure maximum performance and long life.

The HI11310 is a glass body refillable double junction pH electrode with a built-in temperature sensor for temperature compensated measurements in a single probe design. This probe connects to the meter with a 3.5 mm connector. HI70300L Electrode Storage Solution (500 mL)

HI70300L is a storage solution prepared with reagent grade chemicals that can be used to ensure optimum performance of your pH and ORP electrodes. It is necessary to store a pH electrode in a solution in order to keep the glass membrane of the pH electrode hydrated. Ideally a storage solution should be used; never store an electrode in distilled or deionized water. The Hanna Instruments storage solution is specifically formulated to minimize microbial growth and to prevent any effects of diffusion/osmotic from storing a probe in a solution with the highly concentrated inner reference electrolyte. Storing your pH and/or ORP electrodes in a storage solution will also keep the junction clear. Maintaining the hydrated layer and clear junction will help to ensure a fast and reliable measurement. In the case of cleaning your pH electrode in one of our cleaning solutions, we recommend soaking the electrode in the HI70300L storage solution for at least one hour before taking measurements.
