The HI94758B-50 reagent kit contains 50 ready-to-use vials of HI94758V-0AH, 1 bottle of HI93758B-0 solution, and 50 packets of HI93758-0 phosphorus reagent. These high quality reagents follow an adaptation of the EPA method 365.2 and Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater, 20th edition, 4500-P E, ascorbic acid method. In this method, the reaction between orthophosphate and the reagent causes a blue tint in the sample. The amount of phosphorus is then measured colorimetrically. The intensity of color is determined by a compatible photometer and the concentration is displayed in mg/L (ppm) of phosphorus. These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 0.00 to 1.60 mg/L (ppm) phosphorus.

Hanna vials contain pre-dosed reagent so the user simply needs to add a small quantity of the sample to the vial followed by heating 30 minutes at 150ā„ƒ and cooling, then the addition of the NaOH solution to use as the blank, followed by the addition of the phosphorus powder reagent to measure the concentration. With pre-dosed vials, test preparation time is dramatically reduced and there is no time-consuming reagent preparation procedure or glassware cleaning. The vials and caps of the reagents have been designed to avoid accidental reagent spills. Due to the pre-dosed reagents, the amount of chemicals and handling time is also minimized. These vials feature Hanna’s barcode recognition system exclusive to the HI83224 Wastewater Treatment benchtop photometer. The meter scans each vial to automatically identify sample method and range. The barcode has four digits: the first two digits are for parameter identification and the second two digits are for reagent lot ID. Vials for different methods can be distinguished by a barcode printed on the vial and the cap color.

HI7061L General Purpose Cleaning Solution (500 mL)

61.00 AED
HI7061L is a general purpose cleaning solution that can be used for a variety of applications. Electrodes can become dirty from use and will produce inaccurate results even as they read correctly in a pH buffer. Hanna’s cleaning solutions eliminate impurities and residues that are left on electrode surfaces when immersed in samples during measurement or when stored incorrectly. Hanna suggests cleaning the bulb and junction of your electrode on a regular basis to ensure that the probe is always clean and to prevent any clogging of the junction.
  • Specially formulated for cleaning electrodes
  • Air tight seal to ensure quality
  • Expiration date and lot number

HI70300L Electrode Storage Solution (500 mL)

59.00 AED
HI70300L is a storage solution prepared with reagent grade chemicals that can be used to ensure optimum performance of your pH and ORP electrodes. It is necessary to store a pH electrode in a solution in order to keep the glass membrane of the pH electrode hydrated. Ideally a storage solution should be used; never store an electrode in distilled or deionized water. The Hanna Instruments storage solution is specifically formulated to minimize microbial growth and to prevent any effects of diffusion/osmotic from storing a probe in a solution with the highly concentrated inner reference electrolyte. Storing your pH and/or ORP electrodes in a storage solution will also keep the junction clear. Maintaining the hydrated layer and clear junction will help to ensure a fast and reliable measurement. In the case of cleaning your pH electrode in one of our cleaning solutions, we recommend soaking the electrode in the HI70300L storage solution for at least one hour before taking measurements.
  • Special formulation to minimize microbial growth and osmotic/diffusion effects between the solution and inner reference electrolyte
  • Manufactured specifically for pH and ORP electrodes
  • Clearly marked expiration date and lot number
