The HI7073L is a special enzymatic cleaning solution that is specially formulated for use in applications were a pH electrode can be coated with proteins. Electrodes can become dirty from use and will produce inaccurate results even as they read correctly in a pH buffer. Hanna’s cleaning solutions eliminate impurities and residues that are left on electrode surfaces when immersed in samples during measurement and stored incorrectly. Hanna suggests cleaning the bulb and junction of your electrode on a regular basis to ensure that the probe is always clean and prevent any clogging of the junction.

Digital Glass Body pH Electrode with Matching Pin for General Purpose - HI11311
The HI11311 is a glass body, refillable, double junction pH electrode with a matching pin and a built-in temperature sensor for temperature compensated measurements in a single probe design. This probe connects to the meter with a 3.5 mm connector. The 3.5 mm connector is proprietary to meters that use digital electrodes.
The matching pin integrated into the HI11311 is for the Sensor Check™ capability of the edge pH meter; this feature is used to identify problems with the pH electrode such as cracks in the sensing glass or poor condition of the reference junction.
The HI11311 electrode features a built-in microchip that stores sensor type, serial number, and calibration information. It also features a single ceramic junction and the spherical pH sensing portion is made with high temperature glass. This design consideration is ideal for general purpose laboratory use.
