TDS is a conductivity measurement and determines the ability a solution to conduct an electrical charge. TDS is commonly used to determine the concentration of salt in saltwater pools, hot tubs and spas. These bodies of water can use the process of electrolysis to convert the chloride portion of salt to chlorine. It is critical to maintain the ideal level of salt for the efficiency of the electrolytic process. Too little salt will result in too little chlorine being produced. Too much can make the pool unpleasant to swim in.

HI700384P Pool Line 6.44 ppt TDS Standard solutions is used for the calibration of TDS meters. HI700384P contains potassium chloride NIST 2202 SRM (Standard Reference Material) in deionized water for analytical use in accordance with ISO 3696/BS3978. Additional equipment used in preparation of the solutions including certified weight-checked balances, Class A glassware and certified thermometers.

Convenience of individual packaging

  • Ideal for Service Technicians and home owners in calibrating their TDS meters
  • Each sachet is as fresh as the day it was packaged

Each sachet marked with lot number and expiration date

  • Hanna TDS standards are specially formulated to have an expiration of 5 years from the date the solution was packaged.

pH/EC/TDS Multiparameter Probe for use with HI9814 - HI1285-7

463 AED
The HI1285-7 is a 3-in-1 pre-amplified multiparameter probe that measures pH, EC/TDS, and temperature within a single polypropylene body. The pH portion of this probe is constructed with a cloth junction, maintenance-free polymer gel electrolyte, and a low-temperature glass sensing bulb. The EC/TDS portion of this probe utilizes two stainless steel pins for an amperometric determination of conductivity and total dissolved solids. A built-in temperature sensor ensures that both pH and EC/TDS readings are compensated for temperature variations in both standards and samples. The design consideration for the HI1285-7 is ideal for measuring the pH, EC/TDS, and temperature in greenhouses, hydroponics, and other agricultural applications. The HI1285-7 is designed for use with Hanna’s HI9814 portable multiparameter meter.
  • Pre-amplified pH Electrode
  • Amperometric EC/TDS Sensor
  • CAL Check Compatible

Fluoride High-Range Checker® HC - HI739

223 AED
The Hanna Fluoride High-Range Checker® bridges the gap between simple chemical test kits and professional instrumentation. Chemical test kits have limited accuracy and resolution since they rely upon the human eye to discern differences in color. Professional instrumentation incorporates a light source such as an LED or tungsten lamp with a filter and a light sensing detector to precisely determine ion concentration. Professional instrumentation offers greater resolution and accuracy but can cost hundreds of dollars. The Hanna Fluoride High-Range Checker® uses a fixed wavelength LED and silicon photo detector to provide the accuracy of professional instrumentation at the affordable price of a chemical test kit.
  • Compact, Portable Design
  • Built-in Timer
  • One-Button Operation
